Just days after walking the red carpet (and delivering a typical powerhouse performance) for Disney’s biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, Bruce Springsteen made another surprise appearance, this time for Steven Van Zandt’s Party at the Pony. Per Rolling Stone, Springsteen joined his decades-long bandmate on stage Sunday, Oct. 26 at Asbury Park, New Jersey, for several performances, including “I Don’t Want to Go Home,” the opener and title track to Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes’ first album from 1976, which was produced and arranged by Van Zandt and includes contributions from Springsteen.
