There are lots of firework events happening around Solihull and Warwickshire this year. As Bonfire Night takes place mid-week, many organisers are choosing to host their events the weekend before or after, or even during half term . Several are going the extra mile this year to make it even more special, with prizes for fancy dress, shuttle buses to make parking easier and live music. Be sure to check timings and book ahead to avoid disappointment. It takes place on Saturday November 8 at Arden Academy on Station Road in Solihull, with the first one a 'sound sensitive' display for little ones and the main display later, which promises to 'light up the sky'. There will be a BBQ selling steak burgers and jumbo hot dogs plus additional food trucks and a bar selling beers and mulled wine. Additional stalls include hot drinks, glow merchandise, sweet treats, tombola and games. Early bird tickets cost £8.50 for adults, £6 for children and £25 for a family of four until October 31. On the gate tickets will be more expensive. Under threes go free. Find out more and book tickets here It's called HellFire but this is a family-friendly event combining the best of Bonfire Night and Halloween. Packed with live music, food, treats, face painting, stalls, a live DJ, bar, stilt walker, fire breather and a spooky scare walk, the idea is there's something for everyone. Taking place at Highgate United Football Club on Tythe Barn Lane, Shirley on November 1, the fun starts from 6pm when the bonfire is lit. There will be two fireworks displays at 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Early bird tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for children and are available here This has been Kenilworth's 'biggest firework show' for more than 35 years. Taking place just outside the walls of Kenilworth Castle, the Kenilworth Round Table Fireworks Spectacular features entertainment and food stalls. All profits raised from our annual event are used to support local charities, worthy causes and community projects. The event is happening on Saturday November 8, the gates open at 5.30pm and there's a mini display at 6.15pm followed by the main display at 7pm. Tickets cost £14 for adults, £7 for children and £35 for a family of four. Kids aged four and under go free but need an infant ticket. Find out more and book tickets here The Alcester Rugby Club Bonfire Night Festival is happening early - on Halloween. The event takes place on Friday October 31 and the gates open at 6pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm. There will be fairground rides, food stalls, two bars and live music. Fancy dress is encouraged and there's a free coach shuttle from Alcester and Studley. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £6 for children and rise in price from October 1.
