The Buffalo Bills could use some help across several segments of their roster, but perhaps the most glaring area of need is at the wide receiver position. That isn’t because Buffalo is more deficient at wideout than other positions, with reasonable talents like Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir and Joshua Palmer all serving in starting roles. The Bills also have a couple of solid pass-catchers in the tight end room with Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox. But quarterback Josh Allen, the reigning MVP, is missing a true No. 1 option as one of the quarterbacks in the NFL who could do the most damage with one at his disposal. Buffalo tried to secure such a player by trading a third-round pick to the Cleveland Browns last year for Amari Cooper, a move that did not pan out as Cooper’s production plummeted in 2025 and he ended up retiring ahead of this season. Davis spent the first four years of his career in Buffalo as a reliable target for Allen, putting up 163 catches for 2,730 yards and 27 touchdowns. He inked a three-year contract worth $39 million to join the Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of the 2024 campaign, playing one season for that franchise before his release in May. The 26-year-old Davis joined the Bills practice squad in September, where he remained until his activation Wednesday. Read More: Bills Linked to Blockbuster $87.5 Million Trade for Star Defender
