Bermuda striker Kole Hall battling serious medical condition

Bermuda striker Kole Hall is battling a serious medical condition with a GoFundMe page set up to help with spiralling costs. While the exact nature of Hall’s health matter is being kept private, a fundraising target of $6,000 has been set up to assist with treatment, with the blessing of the player and his family. Hall, 27, suffered an emergency medical incident this summer in the wake of returning to England after international duty with Bermuda and has needed specialist care. “This summer, upon returning from international duty with Bermuda, Kole Hall sadly suffered a serious medical condition — a frightening and unexpected event for such a young and dedicated footballer,” the GoFundMe page says. “Since then, Kole has undergone several scans, numerous blood tests, and has seen a range of specialists as doctors work to understand and manage his condition. “These essential medical assessments have come at a significant cost — both to Kole personally and to Chorley Football Club, which has supported him throughout this difficult period. “While we are awaiting contributions from the Bermuda FA, the financial burden of ongoing testing and care continues to grow. We are therefore reaching out to our supporters, fans and the wider football community for help with further testing now on the horizon. “Your donations will go directly towards funding further medical testing and treatment for Kole, helping him take the next steps in his recovery and giving him the best possible chance to return to full health — and hopefully, back on to the pitch where he belongs. “Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference. Thank you for your generosity, compassion and continued support for Kole during this challenging time.” A host of Hall’s Bermuda team-mates have already contributed, with Enrique Russell, Eusebio Blankendal and Deniche Hill among those donating to the total, which has raised nearly $4,000 in just two days. Bermuda head coach Michael Findlay has also sent his best wishes to the striker before the international matches against Curaçao and Trinidad & Tobago next week. “We are all sending best wishes and support to Kole in his continued recovery from his health challenges,” Findlay said. “Kole has been a critical part of the recent success of the Bermuda senior men's national team on and off the field, and we cant wait to see him return to the field with his club and the national team in the near future. “The entire BFA family continue to monitor and support Kole at this difficult time. Health is all we have in the end. Get well soon, Kole.”
