Battlefield Studios has pulled back the curtains on Season 1, revealing all of the new additions coming to the first-person shooter over the next few months. It’ll use a three-phase structure, with new content coming on a monthly basis between October and December. The Season 1 trailer for Battlefield 6 shows off all of the new content coming to the military shooter over the next few months. The action will kick off on October 28 when Season 1 begins with Phase 1 - Rogue Ops. This update will add Blackwell Fields, a new map with large outdoor areas and plenty of space for land and air vehicles. Phase 1 will also introduce Strikepoint, a new 4v4 game mode that sees two teams fighting over an objective. Strikepoint is a round-based mode where players don’t respawn; rounds are won by capturing the objective or wiping out the enemy team. The first team to win six rounds takes the game. New weapons coming in Phase 1 include the Scar SC .300, the Glock 22, and the Mini Fix bolt-action rifle. As for vehicles, the Traverser Mark 2 offers a new way to traverse land. This four-wheel vehicle sports a mounted turret and can be used as a spawn point or supply station. Phase 1 - Rogue Ops will conclude on November 11. A week later, Phase 2 - California Resistance will begin. Lastly, Phase 3 - Winter Offensive will close out the year on December 9. Stick with Shacknews for the latest updates to Battlefield 6.
