SBI Card Rules: According to the SBI Card website, education payments made through third-party apps will be charged 1% of the transaction amount, effective November 1, 2025. Bank transaction fee: SBI Card has announced changes to its fee structure and other charges. These changes will be implemented from November 1, 2025. For example, a ₹2,000 wallet recharge will incur an extra ₹20 charge. According to the SBI Card website, “From November 1, 2025, every wallet load transaction exceeding ₹1,000 will incur a 1% charge on the transaction amount.” This charge will apply to credit card payments to digital wallets such as Amazon Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm. This will have a minimal impact on users making small recharges, but will increase costs for larger transactions. Other existing charges remain unchanged. SBI Card’s existing charges remain unchanged, including a cash payment fee of ₹250. Additionally, a payment dishonor charge of 2% of the payment amount with a minimum of ₹500 is applicable.
