ARC Raiders: Greasing Her Palms Quest Guide

ARC Raiders has a plethora of worthwhile quests for you to grind through as you progress through the ranks and down deadlier autonomous threats, but some can be a bit trickier to complete than others. While it sounds simple on paper, the 'Greasing Her Palms' quest offered by Celeste requires you to visit some highly contested and downright confusing locations to unlock its rewards. Being required to start the Straight Record quest, completing 'Greasing Her Palms' rewards you with Electrical Components, Speaker Components, and the useful Lure Grenade Blueprint. Considering that it's an excellent tool for distracting ARC enemies that won't leave you alone and even catching enemy players off guard, this is one quest that is worth completing soon after unlocking it. Where To Find The Water Treatment Control Building's Locked Room On Dam Battlegrounds After accepting the quest, you'll be granted the Dam Surveillance Key for the Water Treatment Control Building on the Dam Battlegrounds, which is needed to complete its first objective. After traveling to the industrial building and heading up to the south side of its second floor, you'll come across the locked room requiring the key to open. Despite Dam Battlegrounds being one of the relatively safer maps in the game to traverse, due to its low loot and level requirements, I would recommend keeping the key in your safe pocket if you have one to avoid having to deal with getting one again later. Even if you end up losing the key and don't want to waste money on a new one, some players like Reddit user oMAGICZo have managed to find an alternative route inside, but doing so can be a risky endeavor without an ally nearby to revive you. Even outside the quest, the locked room is an excellent place to find some powerful early-game weapons and even pink rarity supplies, despite only being a medium-value looting area, making it a solid pit stop for any raid through The Dam Battlegrounds. However, you'll need to be careful leaving as there have been a greater number of reports regarding players camping out around the room lately. Where To Find The Barricaded Space Travel Area On The Buried City The next stop on Celeste's journey across the topside requires you to make your way to the Space Travel building in The Buried City, and trek up its stairs to the 6th floor. While the task is simple enough on its own, the Space Travel building tends to be one of the most hotly contested areas on the map, given its proximity to the other two red looting zones. To avoid detection, I would recommend using buildings as cover and minimizing noise from looting, such as ARC Pods, on the way. Additionally, using quieter weapons like the Kettle or Hairpin can help take out smaller, noisier targets and ARC droids. After reaching the highest floor of the building just below the roof, you'll come across another locked door that requires you to break it for several seconds before making your way past it, after which the quest objective will immediately mark itself as completed. Given that the quest completion persists even if you die, it's worth looting the locked-away room for any of its rare technological materials while you're there. It is essential to keep in mind that when looting the Space Travel Building, many half-covered walls and openings are prone to detection from ARC droids or other players, making avoiding windows a good idea if you don't want to get whooped by any machines like Bombardiers patrolling nearby. Where To Scope Out The Rocket Thrusters On Spaceport The final location you'll need to visit to complete Celeste's quest requires you to travel to the Spaceport map and head over to the area just below the Rocket Assembly. Even if it sounds like the simplest out of the three, from just having to walk close enough to an area for it to unlock, it's located in one of the most dangerous areas of the map. For the objective to actually mark itself as completed, you'll need to specifically head to the south side of the left booster, pointing towards the Control Tower A6 building. After approaching close enough to the south side of the Rocket Thruster, you'll finally be able to head back to Celeste in Sapienza to collect your quest rewards. While it might seem like the Rocket Assembly is the best path to get to the rocket thruster from its lower loot value, it's often filled with Pop's and Fireballs that can quickly give your position away to any nearby raiders. Due to these annoying enemies, I had much better luck going from the Eastern side of the map or even between either of the two high-value loot buildings, thanks to their closer cover.
