Finally, Apple is planning to bring its popular Dynamic Island feature to its next affordable iPhone. According to a new leak, the upcoming iPhone 17e is expected to launch with the Dynamic Island design, which was missing in the iPhone 16e launched earlier this year. Dynamic Island Coming To iPhone 17e The latest leak comes from Digital Chat Station, who revealed that Apple is planning to equip the iPhone 17e with the Dynamic Island. For those unfamiliar, Dynamic Island is a pill-shaped interactive area at the top of the screen that shows ongoing activities such as calls, music, navigation, and alerts, while also housing the front camera and Face ID sensors. Apple first introduced this design with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in 2022. It later expanded the feature to the iPhone 15 series, 16 and now 17 series. If this report is accurate, the iPhone 17e will become the first affordable model to feature this premium design element. While the inclusion of Dynamic Island is exciting, the report added that the iPhone 17e will still use a 60Hz OLED display, similar to what we’ve seen on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.
