Tennis icon Andre Agassi has taken to social media to celebrate his 24th wedding anniversary with fellow legend of the game Steffi Graf . Agassi, 55, shared a photo of the duo posing with their Wimbledon trophies from 1992, a whole nine years before they tied the knot . He looks drastically different in the snap with his once trademark long blonde hair dominating the photo, a far cry from the shaved head he now sports today. While he is decked out in a classy tux, in classic Agassi fashion, his look is complete with a dangly earring. Graff, meanwhile, now 56, wears a regal ball gown, accessorised with pearls. Next to the iconic photo, Agassi also shared a picture from now with the happy couple smiling into the camera, captioning it: "24 years with this wonderful woman, Happy Anniversary Steffi, you are my unicorn!" Despite the pair sharing their Wimbledon glory together in 1992, Agassi would actually go on to marry actress Brooke Shields from 1997 to 1999, while Graf dated racing driver Michael Bartels. It was only after the American's split from Shields that his relationship with Graf flourished, with the two beginning a romance in 1999. Agassi later revealed that he had always held a candle for his now-wife. Writing in his 2009 memoir, Open , he said: "I’ve had a crush on Steffi since I first saw her doing an interview on French TV. I was thunderstruck, dazzled by her understated grace, her effortless beauty." Agassi also disclosed that he was "dying" to attend the famous Wimbledon Ball, as he knew the two champions would have the chance to dance together. Known for protecting their private life, Agassi and Graf underwent a deeply personal wedding ceremony in October 2001 at their home in Las Vegas. In line with their desire to keep things low-key, only four people were present: Agassi, Graf and their respective mothers. Later on they welcomed their son Jaden Gil, followed by daughter Jaz Elle in 2003. Since hanging up their rackets, Agassi and Graf have chosen to lead a quiet family life, shielding their children from the pressures of professional tennis. Jaden chose to pursue baseball, playing at the University of Southern California. Jaz, meanwhile, has shown an interest in dance. Agassi is renowned as one of the best men's players of all time. His maverick personality on the court was only matched by his astonishing success. He turned pro at just 16 and racked up 60 ATP Tour singles titles over two decades. His glittering career boasts eight Grand Slam wins - including four Australian Opens, a French Open , Wimbledon and two US Opens - making him one of only five men in the Open Era to achieve a career Grand Slam. He also bagged Olympic gold in singles at the 1996 Atlanta Games and retired in 2006. German icon Graf is one of the greatest female players in history. She won 107 singles titles on the WTA Tour, including 22 major women's singles titles, the third-most of all time. She won Wimbledon on seven occasions, the French Open six times, four Australian Open titles and five US Open championships. Graf retired from the game at just 30 years old in 1999.
