Rohit, who led India to victory at the 2024 T20 World Cup, had planted the Indian flag on the ground in Barbados after they beat South Africa by seven runs in the final.The Indian Women's team head coach similarly planted the country's flag on the ground in Navi Mumbai after the historic triumph. He also led Mumbai to victory during the 2006-07 Ranji Trophy season.The right-hander was a prolific run-getter throughout his domestic career. He amassed 11167 runs from 171 first-class games at an average of 48.13 with 30 centuries and 60 half-centuries. Muzumdar also made 3286 runs from 106 innings in List A cricket with three centuries.He was appointed as the head coach of the Indian Women's team in 2023 after having served as the batting coach of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL previously.
