Amid comet 3I/ATLAS' growing mystery, why Kim Kardashian was invited to join alien research team for interstellar object

ReutersKim Kardashian asked NASA’s acting administrator Sean Duffy on X to spill the “tea” on the interstellar entity A Harvard astrophysicist who believes the Manhattan-sized comet hurtling towards Earth could possibly be fueled by alien technology has invited Kim Kardashian to join his research team — after she got a quick response from the federal government. Last week, Kim Kardashian asked NASA’s acting administrator Sean Duffy on X to spill the “tea” on the interstellar entity. “Great question!” the director promptly responded. “@NASA’s observations show that this is the third interstellar comet to pass through our solar system. No aliens. No threat to life here on Earth.”Loeb criticized Duffy in another blog post, observing how the NASA chief responded to Kim, “a successful businesswoman” instead of a scientist. He entitled the entry, “Kim Kardashian is Welcome to Join my Research Team on 3I/ATLAS.” “No aliens. No threat to life here on Earth,” Duffy, who also serves as the US Secretary of Transportation, assured the reality TV star.ALSO READ: Interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS has changed course? Big discovery by NASA in visitor's speed as it moves toward EarthRepublican congresswoman asks NASA to release picsAmid growing mystery surrounding comet 3I/ATLAS, Republican congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is calling on NASA to share unreleased data and images of the Manhattan-sized comet to advance our understanding. Anna Paulina Luna has NASA to provide hitherto unreleased pictures of the interstellar interloper obtained from various instruments of the agency, including the HiRISE camera aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. This comes in the wake of Harvard astrophysicist Dr. Avi Loeb’s (63) accusation that the space agency never responded to his request for the same. The 36-year-old Florida rep shared an X post of her letter, which was addressed to acting NASA administrator Sean Duffy. “I write to request the release of specific observational data related to 3I/ATLAS, recently captured by NASA missions,” Luna wrote. “This information is of great importance to advancing our understanding of interstellar visitors and their interaction with our solar system.”ALSO READ: Can Trump deport Zohran Mamdani? Harvard scientist Avi Loeb suggested that the unusual behavior could indicate the presence of an alien-made “engine.” The lawmaker specifically called upon the space agency to release the images that the HiRISE camera aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter snapped between October 2-3.She also requested “supplementary data” from the spacecraft in question, the Perseverance Rover, and “other Mars missions that may have detected unusual activity near Mars around or after October 3, 2025, when 3I/ATLAS passed within approximately 30 million kilometers (18.6 million miles) of the planet.”“I encourage NASA to fund additional observations of 31/ATLAS by the Juno mission near Jupiter, utilizing all available instruments, including its radio sensors,” she wrote. “Observations from this vantage point could yield valuable insights into the object’s composition, trajectory, and possible interaction with the solar environment.”ALSO READ: Will million New Yorkers flee the city after Zohran Mamdani wins NYC mayoral election? What alarming poll showsLoeb praised Luna for taking the initiative in a recent post on Medium, writing, “We all owe a debt of deep gratitude for the visionary support displayed by Representative Luna to frontier science through her letter.”Analysis of high-resolution photos snapped by NASA’s HiRISE camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on Oct. 2 and 3 “would help to guide upcoming observations of 3I/ATLAS before the object leaves our solar system,” he said. But scientists have not had the opportunity to review the images despite their pleas, he claimed. They deserve a response from the government as expeditious as Duffy answered Kardashian, Loeb said.“We should be humble about the little we know and curious about 3I/ATLAS rather than insist that we know its nature before data is shared and analyzed,” he said. “Congress members and scientists also deserve a prompt response to their inquiries.”Add as a Reliable and Trusted News Source Add Now!
