Amazon has reduced the price of a pair of hair straighteners shoppers say are 'just as good' as GHD and Cloud Nine. Some have been so impressed they claim the straighteners are "even better" than the two top well-known brands. The online marketplace has reduced the price of the Faszin Professional Hair Straighteners from £149.99 to £39.99 , meaning shoppers can save around £110 thanks to the 73% discount. There are three colours to choose from— black , white , and pink —but only the black pair has been reduced. The product description reads: "Titanium plate is 150% smoother than ceramic, makes styling easier. Featuring HeatShotZ heating technology and MCH heater, it heats up to 180°C within 30s. 10 million negative ions/cm helps to increase hair shine by 23%, smoothness by 28%, and reduce frizz. You will get sleek hair for a long time." If you are after a new pair of hair straighteners, there are others on offer. Boots is selling Remington Shine Therapy Hair Straightener S8500 for £30.99 - down from £79. Superdrug has reduced BaByliss Smooth Pro 235 Hair Straighteners from £80 to £40. However, Amazon's Faszin Professional Hair Straighteners have an impressive amount of five star reviews. So far, shoppers have rated the Faszin Professional Hair Straighteners 4.7 stars out of five, with 80% of all 2,572 global reviews being five out of five stars. The majority of customers say the hair straighteners deliver salon-quality results at home and are particularly effective for naturally curly hair. They say the iron heats up quickly and features adjustable temperature settings, while being easy to use and offering smooth plates that glide through hair. One person wrote: "I was sceptical. Very sceptical! I'm GHD girl, but I have 3 pairs that have broken within weeks and no longer trust them. I needed a cheaper alternative so purchased these after reading the reviews. "I have coarse, thick, hair, prone to frizz. I didn't hold out much hope but was desperate. Boy, was I wrong! These work! Usually takes me upwards of 30 mins to straighten my hair, these cut it down by almost half. I can't believe how good they are, and at a quarter of the price of 'the trusted' ones! Well worth the money, 100% work some kind of wizardry!" Another said: "Hair is left silky smooth, even after one pass over my hair. However, some people have a few issues. One person claimed: "Cannot get them to work, brought them for a wedding and couldn't use them." Another said: "Leaves hair smelling singed." A third said: "Hair gets pulled, it doesnt slide that easily. Will be returning it." A fourth said: "I bought this less than a year ago - and it’s already finished." But the majority of reviews were positive. One said: "Bought these to replace GhDs because of the price. I have to say I have been blown over how good they really are they create a really smooth finish. Highly recommend these." A second said: "Amazing straighteners!!
