Amazon's £150 'budget-friendly' smartwatch that has a 'premium feel' now £30

Amazon shoppers have been raving about a 'budget-friendly' smartwatch they say has a 'premium feel' to it. The Military Smart Watch for Men was £149.99 but is now 80% off and discounted to £29.99, providing a whopping £120 save. The smartwatch comes with a 'military triple protection', which Amazon says is 'indestructible even in extreme conditions'. It comes with tactical outdoor setting such as an LED light and compass. The device also has a 960mAH battery, 1.45inch smart command display, noise-cancelling microphone and bluetooth. For those who want to monitor their health, the smartwatch has a third-generation sensor to measure heart rate and blood oxygen saturation in real time to analyse sleep stages, whether that be deep sleep or light sleep. This could be the perfect device for those who like to hike, cycle, rock climb and for those who want to track distance, calories or routes. Elsewhere, Very.co.uk has the AppleWatch SE (GPS, 2024) Midnight Aluminium Case with Midnight Sport Band which was £219 but is now £174. And Currys has the GARMIN Forerunner 255 Sports Watch for £199.99. Back at Amazon, the Military Smart Watch for Men has received a rating of 4.8 out of five stars and 200 reviews. One happy customer said: "I wasn't expecting too much for the price, but this watch has really surprised me. It feels solid and well made, the battery goes on for days, and the screen is bright and clear even in the sun. The health tracking and sports modes are easy to use and pretty accurate, and I really like the extra touches like the built-in torch and spare strap." Another wrote: "It’s comfy to wear, connects to my phone without any hassle, and the notifications come through quickly. Honestly, for what it costs, you get way more than you’d think. A proper bargain and I’d definitely recommend it." Although happy with the watch, one customer gave it a four-star rating and wrote: "Just have for a week. Wanted a starter smart watch to kick off a new regime. So far so good. Battery life decent. Chunky watch to wear but I knew that before buying it. Very good value for money." While another reviewer had a mixed opinion about the watch and wrote: "A sturdy bit of kit. The stainless steel bezel looks far pricier than the packaging hints at, and the ample 1.3-inch display stays readable even under the midday sun. Two 22 mm straps turn up in the box: a pliable silicone one for workouts, and a woven fabric number for when you fancy looking presentable. A magnetic USB lead brings the battery from flat to full in about an hour and a half. "Step counts, heart-rate readings and sleep data tally closely with the figures in my phone’s health app, so at least the watch is keeping me honest. Menus glide by with barely a stutter, and there is a frankly daft selection of downloadable faces, ranging from minimalist monochrome to full-blown neon rave. With notifications left on I manage six or seven days between charges, meaning no frantic scrabble for a plug every night. "It is not flawless. The InfoWear companion app feels as though it has not seen a redesign since 2015, the silicone strap gets sweaty on longer runs, and the magnetic charger can slip off if you nudge the watch on the bedside table. Those small quibbles aside, you are getting a bright screen, solid build quality and a heap of everyday functions for very sensible money." But others were more than happy. One customer penned: "This is a high-quality smartwatch at a budget-friendly price. It features a stainless steel shell that gives it a premium feel, and the display looks sleek and tidy. The touch screen is highly responsive, making it easy to use. In addition to the silicone strap, it also comes with a spare canvas Velcro strap — a thoughtful bonus. "Pairing the watch with my phone was straightforward. It effectively tracks key health metrics, including step count, heart rate, blood oxygen level, and sleep quality. The battery life is impressive, lasting several days on a single charge. A charging cable is included in the package. Overall, the performance of this budget smartwatch has exceeded my expectations." And another remarked: "Excellent smart watch that is comfy to wear, looks very stylish and has great functionality with strong Bluetooth connection and superb battery life. Would recommend."
