The intended weather engineering or modification involves cloud seeding and inducing rain outside the flood-affected areas.Flooding in Semarang City has now entered its sixth day. Water still inundates the national North Coast route (Pantura) on Kaligawe Street. Only large vehicles can pass through the road.Meanwhile, in Sayung Sub-district, Demak Regency, flooding also inundates the Pantura route. The flood occurred in an area prone to recurrent tidal flooding. Despite being within the curve of the Semarang-Demak Tanggul Laut Toll Road, the flood continues to occur.Several other areas, such as Grobogan Regency and Pati Regency, are also inundated by flooding. In Pati, the flood inundates the Pantura route in Batangan Sub-district, leading to Rembang Regency.Ahmad Luthfi mentioned that officials continue to work in the field to anticipate the flood. "The Provincial and regency or city Regional Disaster Management Agency is on standby 24 hours a day," he said.Previously, Henggar Budi Anggoro, the head of the Central Java Public Works Department for Water Resources and Spatial Planning, stated that the recent floods are due to the extremely high rainfall over the past few days.
