AEW star MVP has had a busier schedule than in recent years. In just October, he has competed in three matches. All three were full of violence and brutality. Two of them were against The Demand, and the latest was against The Opps for the AEW World Trios Championship. Unfortunately, The Hurt Syndicate couldn't capture the gold last week. The Demand has been troubling The Syndicate for the past couple of months. Earlier, they cost Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin the AEW World Tag Team Championship. On the latest episode of Dynamite, Ricochet and his team stopped the faction from winning the title from The Opps. While speaking on Marking Out, MVP revealed he hurt his neck after performing a dive on Ricochet during the Street Fight on Dynamite Title Tuesday.“My neck’s been bothering me since the street fight. Got a little whiplash from that, uh, Ricochet dive," he said.Montel Vontavious Porter also shed light on how he prepares for his matches. He also talked about how he got his hand sliced during another segment a few days later.“Usually, you stop in for the trainers, sign up on the list to get a designated time to come in and get whatever work you need — stretch, electronic stim, whatever you need, they got you. I’m gonna go get my bandage changed in a little bit and get my neck worked on before showtime." [H/T - Ringside News]MVP clears the air on a major rumorA few months ago, a rumor began circulating that Montel disliked Speedball Mike Bailey backstage. However, that didn't appear to be the case.During an episode of Marking Out, MVP said he has no issue with Speedball. He also revealed that he never said he disliked the star.“At no point did I ever say that I dislike Speedball Mike Bailey. I don’t have an issue with Speedball. We work together, we see each other, we shake hands, and we keep it moving like there’s no issue there," he said.It remains to be seen when MVP will return to action.
