AD FEATURE: Aaron Ramsey's Mexican nightmare as reward doubled for missing dog and club speak out

Aaron Ramsey has increased the reward for information over his missing dog Halo, who has gone missing in Mexico. Reports in Mexico claim the midfielder is now offering $20,000 (£15,000) to anyone able to help find his beloved beagle, who was last seen in San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico's Guanajuato region. That amount is double the amount initially offered by the family, who have been looking for Halo since she went missing on October 9. The search has clearly hampered Ramsey's efforts to make an impression at Mexican side UNAM Pumas, whom he joined after leaving boyhood club Cardiff City on a free transfer in the summer. The 34-year-old hasn't played for his new club since a 4-1 defeat to America at the end of September, having initially picked up a hamstring issue. That injury kept him out of the most recent international camp with Wales, but the search for his dog has also meant he's stayed away from his club too. Marca have previously noted Ramsey's absence from the club's training ground in recent weeks, with some corners of the Mexican media wondering if he might be poised to leave the club already. Quizzed on Ramsey's situation after Sunday's draw with Leon, boss Efraín Juárez said: “We’re monitoring it. I said it on Wednesday - let’s see what happens in the coming days. "He’s dealing with his situation, which we all know about, involving his dog. Also, there was an issue before he left during the FIFA break. So, we’ll have to wait and see what happens in the next few days." According to Claro Sports, Ramsey has now come back to the club to continue working his way back to full fitness, and a photo posted on his official Instagram story on Monday seemingly suggested he might be on his way back to action soon. Nevertheless, Halo's disappearance has clearly taken a big emotional toll on the former Arsenal star. In a recent post on his Instagram, Ramsey posted a black and white photo of Halo sleeping in his arms, with the caption: "What I'd do to hold you one last time Halo."
