New Delhi: Tej Pratap Yadav, Janshakti Janata Dal founder and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Kishan were spotted together at Patna airport on Friday, setting off a wave of buzz in the middle of the heated Bihar Assembly elections. The unexpected encounter between the former RJD leader and the actor-turned-politician caught the attention of onlookers, as both were approached by reporters while exiting the airport after their separate campaign events in the state. Yadav, who was expelled from RJD by his father Lalu Prasad Yadav, said, "It is just that I am meeting Ravi Kishan for the first time. Of course, he and I are on the same page when it comes to our devotion to Lord Shiva. Both of us wear the 'tika' on our foreheads." When asked if he might align with the BJP, Yadav responded, "I will be with anyone who removes unemployment." Meanwhile, defending the meeting, Ravi Kishan said, "It is his heart that is earning people's praise. Anything can happen. BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi keep doors open for all devotees of Bholenath, who are devoted to selfless service and not in politics because of a personal agenda." Ravi Kishan further declined to comment on Yadav's expulsion from the RJD. He said, "Now, do not ask me such questions. These are election times. Rest assured though, that the people of Bihar are wise enough to discern right from wrong." Notably, Tej Pratap Yadav was campaigning in Bihar's Gaya for his party candidates while Ravi Kishan was in East Champaran and West Champaran.
