Deadline was the first to break the news that Brooks is starring in the film The Roaring Game with a stellar cast that includes Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke. Brooks plays the lead role of Ricky, a high school janitor desperate to win back his girlfriend, who is playing hockey for Team USA in the World Games. Ricky takes drastic measures to get the girl, which leads him to create a curling team made up of misfits. The Roaring Game also stars American Pie alum Eddie Kaye Thomas, One Tree Hill alums Paul Johansson and Antwon Tanner, former New England Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski, as well as Justin Chatwin, Fivel Stewart, William Forsythe, Vanessa Angel, Eric Lutes, Brett Azar, Jonathan Stoddard, and Rob Goon.
