Madhavan has once again set social media abuzz with a never-before-seen look from his upcoming film, GDN. On Sunday, the makers officially unveiled the film’s first-look teaser, which has been creating a significant buzz online. Based on the life of Indian industrial designer Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, who is often hailed as “India’s Edison”, the film chronicles the journey of one of the country’s most remarkable inventors. Madhavan, known for his effortless screen presence and ability to portray nuanced characters with authenticity, steps into the titular role of GD Naidu. The poster showcases Madhavan’s incredible physical transformation through the use of prosthetics to resemble GD Naidu. The motion poster features him welding with a protective mask on, and towards the end, he lifts the mask to reveal his striking new look. Alongside starring Madhavan in the lead, who also backed the film, the ensemble cast features Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Priyamani, Dushara Vijayan, Thambi Ramaiah, and Vinay Rai. Madhavan’s Second Biopic It is to be noted that G.D.N marks Madhavan’s second biographical film after Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which he also directed and starred in. Based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, the film earned widespread acclaim for its authenticity and storytelling. Madhavan’s Other Upcoming Projects Apart from G.D.N., the actor is also gearing up for De De Pyaar De 2, co-starring Ajay Devgn. The film marks their second on-screen collaboration after Shaitaan.
