Iconic ’90s actress Helen Hunt made a statement in her latest Instagram post that got her fans talking. The Mad About You alum, 62, showed she is a true Los Angeles Dodgers fan as the Dodgers battle the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series. The Dodgers won a tough battle in Game 3 of the World Series on October 27. It took 18 innings, but they beat the Blue Jays to take the lead in the series. On October 28, Hunt posted a selfie on her Instagram page that showed she’s rooting for the Dodgers. She wore a blue T-shirt that represented the Dodgers and tagged player Freddie Freeman in the photo. Freeman was the hero of the night, scoring a walk-off home run to get the win for his team. Hunt’s fans had a lot to say about both the Dodgers and the selfie that she posted. One fan commented, “What an epic game last night!!! OMG!! GO DODGERS!!” Another wrote, “YAY!!! Great t-shirt! Go Dodgers!” Someone else noted that Hunt’s hairstyle looks different and shorter than usual, and another fan suggested that they love her even more now that they know she’s a Dodgers fan. “Love this photo and you. I heard the game was epic,” read an additional response. A couple of other fans simply commented, “Beautiful.” Hunt looked comfortable and casual in her selfie. She wore sunglasses and a handful of necklaces to accompany her Dodgers gear. She appeared to be makeup-free and had her hair styled casually. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 In June, Hunt talked with People about aging in Hollywood. She admitted that at one point, “It felt impossible not to internalize the way you’re supposed to look. And [there was] a certain amount of misery and shame around not looking exactly that way.” Hunt added, “I realized, ‘This could quietly ruin your whole life. I made a decision. I’m not playing. Not gonna [let it] take up a lot of space in my mind.” The Hacks star’s latest selfie reinforces the boundaries she has set. The shot was casual, taken at what some would say wasn’t necessarily the most flattering angle. Hunt went with a natural look that showed her true self, and fans loved it.
