'Say it louder!' Maeve Madden wins praise for take on 'baby pressure'

It's a tale as old as time that women, especially those who 'should be' conscious of their body clock, are plagued by questions from family, friends, and relatives about their plans to start a family. Maeve Madden, a 40-year-old fitness influencer, has shared her very candid take on the matter when asked by a follower, 'How do you deal with baby pressure?' In an honest and upfront video, Maeve, who is approaching her fourth wedding anniversary, began: 'A woman's worth does not live within her womb. You are already enough in every version of your life.' 'Not all journeys fit into this beautiful, picture-perfect timeline. Some are slow, and some are painful, and I guess some are still writing themselves,' Maeve said, relating to scores of her followers, and hundreds more women in the world at large. Maeve continued: 'We should really direct this towards the person ASKING those private questions - stop being a nosy d**khead. Just in case you're going through something, remember that.' In the caption of her video, Maeve asked: 'Can we normalise not asking women about babies?,' before continuing: 'At 40, I’ve had every version of the question... Somewhere between engagement announcements, baby showers, gender reveals, and the so… when is it your turn? questions. 'I realised something important…. A woman’s worth does not lie in her womb. I’m 40, married, no babies yet, and still, my life is full, my heart is full, and I am more than enough.' 'Wanting a baby doesn’t make me incomplete. Not having one (yet) doesn’t make me broken,' Maeve admitted. 'You never know what someone is carrying, or how heavy it feels. We’re all on different timelines. And darling, mine is beautifully my own. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is simply not ask.' Maeve's followers flocked in their hundreds to heap praise on the fitness influencer, one with even going so far as to say: 'Never a better post posted.' One Instagram user penned: 'Couldn’t agree more. Everyone’s journey is their own, some journeys are joyful, some are painful and some are a mixture of this and more. View this post on Instagram 'The best thing to do is mind your own business. Let’s normalise NOT asking this very Irish of questions and lead with kindness instead.' Meanwhile, another wrote: 'Say it louder for those at the back. I watched your story the other day and when you said a woman's worth does not lie in her womb and was like wow... never put better.
