Jay, meanwhile, donned a burgundy suit, a bow tie adorned with gold sequins, and a pair of black sunglasses on the red carpet. “We are honored to be here,” Pamla said. “Our show just came out this year, and to be already recognized [for] what we’re doing early on, especially with just one season, and also the Impact Award is already a huge milestone as well. Also, considering there’s not enough representation in the media yet, and we just hope that this is just another stepping stone to keep going as a snowball for more representation in the media.” Pamela then added, “And then also, we have a big announcement tonight: We have been greenlit for Season 2 of Jay & Pamela on TLC.” To that, Jay shared, “We feel incredible. I mean, just the fact that in one season, we’ve been able to have this much impact is something special. But we’re also looking to celebrate everyone else who is incredible and really represent the disability community in such a positive way. And that’s what it’s all about, here at the Media Access Awards.” The 2025 Media Access Awards with Easterseals was taped in Los Angeles in October and premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. PT on PBS SoCal Plus.
