We're well and truly into autumn now, the leaves are falling and the temperature is dipping. But it's not all bad news, for many of us this so-called cosy season is one of the best times of the year, as we look to give our homes a refresh and maybe even add a spooky or fantasy vibe. And one of the easiest ways to quickly - and cheaply - give a bedroom a lift can be with a new duvet cover. Dunelm has long been a go-to retailer for such things, with one particularly charming bedspread pulling in dozens of rave reviews. The Catherine Lansfield Enchanted Twilight Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set features a "beautiful" pattern that's adorned with whimsical illustrations of foxes, owls and rabbits. It's also fully reversible, with the other side featuring a star and feather pattern in a lighter tone. The set is typically priced at £16 for a single or £22 for a double, however savvy shoppers can actually essentially pick it up from as little as 72p if they buy it via TopCashback. Using TopCashback's £15 signup bonus brings the price down to 72p for a single and £6.62 for a double (for new members of TopCashback and new customers of Dunelm). Meanwhile for those who are new to TopCashback but already existing Dunelm customers, the price is slightly more - 86p for a single and £6.81 for a double, after cashback. Dunelm isn't the sole retailer offering bedding bargains, with Debenhams also slashing substantial discounts off numerous sets. One such choice is the Christy 100% Organic Cotton Duvet Cover Set, from Debenhams. That's priced at £44-£68 - a 20% reduction on the standard retail cost. It's available in four shades - white, beige, pink and green - though some dimensions are unavailable in particular colours. Meanwhile, Dusk offers an affordable alternative with the Cambridge 200 Thread Count Duvet Cover, priced at £15 for a single, £25 for a double, £30 for a king size and £35 for a super king. Of the 112 reviews left to date on Dunelm's duvet set, the product has a really strong average rating of 4.6 out of 5, with more than 90 people giving the full five stars. One said: "I bought this set last week and I love it. It's so rich looking and changes my bedroom totally. It was very reasonably priced too. I just need some curtains to match now." Another continued: "Beautiful print, made me feel like I was touching grass. The illustrations are very comforting." A third went on: "Beautiful design and good quality bedding. Needed to treat myself to a new one and I’m happy with this one." Despite the positive feedback, there have been a small number of flaws pointed out. One buyer mentioned: "This looks lovely but it is polycotton, which I did realise after ordering, and it feels rough to the touch compared to 100% cotton. My fault but not as soft as you might expect." Not everyone agrees, however, including this buyer who said: "Absolutely gorgeous! I love both sides of the pattern, the material is lovely, well worth the money. 10/10 and 5 gold stars!"
