A Premier League coach has name-dropped Chelsea whilst praising a former Blue this week with some big compliments. It is Champions League week again this week and Chelsea don’t feature until Wednesday evening when we take on Ajax. However, there are plenty of games going on this week, tonight in fact. Arsenal are playing against Atletico Madrid, but it is Newcastle who are welcoming Benfica to their yard tonight and we all know what that means. Chelsea legend Jose Mourinho back on English soil once again. Mourinho had a return to Stamford Bridge a few weeks back although that was not such a happy return for him in terms of the result at least, with his Benfica side losing to Chelsea. The former Chelsea boss spoke ahead of the game and was pleased that Cole Palmer was not going to be playing. But it didn’t matter in the end of course because Chelsea won the game without him. Mourinho was quick to point out one Chelsea player that he thought struggled in the game in his post-match comments. Howe full of praise It will be down to business for both men when the action kicks off on Tuesday at St. James’ Park, but Howe expressed great respect for Mourinho ahead of the game. “He’s someone that I hugely admire, having come up against him before in the Premier League and I think as a younger coach really admired the teams that he built at Chelsea in particular. “I thought he is definitely a visionary, someone that broke the mould really in terms of how you manage and different ways to do things and then following his success through different clubs, different leagues, incredible really what he what he’s achieved in his career. “It’s always a great opportunity for any club to go up against his teams and looking forward to the challenge immensely.”
