What a horrible tragedy!: Perez Hilton reacts after Human Barbie Barbara Jankavski is found dead at 31 under suspicious circumstances

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton reacted to the shocking death of Brazilian influencer Barbara Jankavski, better known online as “Human Barbie.” In his November 6 article, Hilton expressed disbelief and sorrow over the news, describing Jankavski’s passing as an unimaginable loss.“Barbara Jankavski AKA ‘Human Barbie’ has tragically passed away. The Brazilian influencer, who went by Boneca Desumana on Instagram, has sadly turned up dead at 31 — and officials say the circumstances are suspicious… What a horrible tragedy! 31 years old is far too young to go,” Perez Hilton said.In his website article, Perez Hilton went on to detail Jankavski’s well-known social media presence, explaining that she “documented a luxurious lifestyle,” showcasing her “Barbie-inspired fashion choices”.He further added that she had undergone “many plastic surgery procedures” to resemble the iconic doll. He also noted that she had undergone “another facelift as recently as June.”The podcaster then detailed that on Wednesday, November 5, CNN Brazil had reported that the influencer was “sadly found dead” by a “public defender.”“According to the news org, 51-year-old public defender Renato Campos Pinto de Vitto told authorities he was with Jankavski the night she died on Sunday night. Why, might you ask? Because he had apparently hired her for “sexual services,” according to the outlet. Oh…” Perez Hilton added. What else did Perez Hilton say about "Human Barbie" Barbara Jankavski's death? From L to R: Barbara Jankavski and Perez Hilton (Image via Instagram/@Boneca Desumana and Getty Images)Hilton first delved into the details surrounding her final hours, referring to the testimony of 51-year-old public defender Renato Campos Pinto de Vitto. According to Hilton, de Vitto told authorities that he had been with Barbara Jankavski the night of her death after hiring her for “sexual services.”Explaining the legal context of the situation, Hilton noted that such transactions are not considered unlawful in the country, writing:“Unlike in most of the United States, exchanging sex for money is legal in Brazil.”Hilton went on to elaborate that the circumstances that night were far more complex than a consensual encounter. He explained that de Vitto admitted both he and Barbara Jankavski had taken drugs and other "illicit substances" during their time together, which appeared to play a role in her sudden collapse. Hilton detailed the man’s account, writing:“(He) attempted to administer CPR for a whole nine minutes before medics arrived. But when they finally did arrive, they declared her dead at the scene,” Hilton added.Citing a report by CNN Brazil, Hilton revealed that São Paulo’s State Military Police had described disturbing details about the state in which Jankavski was discovered. According to the outlet, she was “found dead wearing nothing but underwear,” with “a visible injury on her left eye” and “noticeable marks across her back.” Hilton also noted that a close friend of the late influencer reportedly told investigators that the facial bruise may have come from a fall Jankavski suffered days earlier, an explanation that only partially accounted for her condition. However, the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat requested autopsy and toxicology tests to further investigate. As of now, her death has been labeled ‘suspicious,’” Hilton added.Summing up his report with empathy, Hilton acknowledged the uncertainty that still surrounded the case and urged for answers for Jankavski’s loved ones.“We hope investigators find more answers soon — so at least her loved ones can find some closure. Rest in peace, Human Barbie.”Barbara Jankavski’s sudden death left her followers in shock. The social media star, who had amassed more than 400,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, was known for candidly documenting her journey through at least 27 cosmetic procedures.
