WWE star Jade Cargill recently commented on a heartbreaking update from a top AEW star. The former TBS Champion has been doing well in the global sports entertainment juggernaut. Shortly after turning heel, she went on to become the world champion after defeating Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night's Main Event. She recently sent a message to Brian Cage.The Machine was an integral part of the Don Callis Family. Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury in April 2025 and underwent surgery. He was recovering well and occasionally shared his status on his in-ring return. However, things have worsened for him.Brian Cage recently took to Instagram to reveal that his knee surgery was unsuccessful. The former FTW Champion said he might have to undergo surgery again. So, I mean, I guess anything could be possible (…) There’s a whole wide open of versatility of what could happen, because there’s nothing set in stone at all for when I’m coming back or what I’m going to do when I come back. I’m not telling anybody that I don’t want anybody to have an inkling," he said.It remains to be seen when The Machine will return to AEW.
