He also claimed that a post made by LeBron James in 2024 on social media referenced convicted drug lord Demetrius ‘Big Meech’ Flenory.“This is a league dominated by the Jews, players that are Black who think many of them, hip-hop culture, who think they are Italian mafia bosses, or Black mafia bosses,” Whitlock said.“Who did LeBron James send a shoutout to when he got released from prison?” he added. “It was the dude they named the TV show Black Mafia Family after. This connection is so obvious and so crystal clear, but no one wants to talk about it.”His comments come as the league is embroiled in controversy following the arrest of Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups by the FBI.Rozier was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Additionally, he was accused of faking injuries to favor bettors' prop bets. Coach Billups was accused of being part of an illegal poker game, which had ties to powerful New York Mafia families.
