The former Temple standout was drafted by the Chicago Sky in the second round of the 2012 WNBA Draft, but Peddy spent time playing overseas before actually signing with the Washington Mystics and competing in the 2019 season. After two seasons in Washington, Peddy would make the move to the Phoenix Mercury. In 2025, she played six games with the LA Sparks and nine games with the Fever, a team that signed her to a $78,831 contract.Having joined the Fever in the latter half of the season, she got to see action in the team's playoff run. Across eight games in the postseason, Peddy averaged 14.1 minutes and contributed 5.2 points per outing. It's possible that the Fever will welcome back Peddy when they begin forming their roster for the next WNBA season. At the very least, Peddy has formed a bond of solidarity with the members of the Fever lineup."She's stayed ready": Fever HC offers high praise for Shey Peddy in end-of-season reviewLast week, the Fever released an end-of-season review of Peddy. In this review, head coach Stephanie White offered kind words for the Fever guard."She’s stayed ready. Getting opportunities, especially when you’re on the floor and the way that Kelsey and AB work together, it opens things up," White said of Peddy.Indiana Fever v Las Vegas Aces - Game Five - Source: GettyWhite added that Peddy was a "shot-ready" competitor who converted on "some big ones" for the Fever this past season.
