New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is looking for love votes with his latest campaign ad.
The democratic socialist appeared in a spot that aired Wednesday during ABC’s “The Golden Bachelor,” in which he lightheartedly borrowed one of the show’s signature lines in a bid to woo voters.

“You deserve better,” Mamdani began the video.
“You deserve to be able to raise your family here, to be safe, to travel where you need to, free of costs and worry,” he continued. “You deserve someone who works as hard as you do, who thinks about you every second of the day.”
“That’s the kind of mayor I promise to be,” Mamdani vowed, before gazing into the camera and declaring, “New York, will you accept this rose?”

The video has garnered millions of views on social media, although, of course, the popularity of a video online isn’t guaranteed to translate into votes.
