Yu Menglong, also known as Alan Yu, the Chinese actor whose death shook fans across China and has sent shockwaves through the Chinese film industry, died after he reportedly fell from a building. The authorities claimed that the actor died due to an accidental fall and was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Police ruled out the possibility of murder.
