Alphabet Inc.’s YouTube TV will lose marquee channels like ESPN from the end of this month after failing to strike a new licensing deal with Walt Disney Co. The $83-per-month cable replacement service is Google’s proposition for a one-stop shop for all home entertainment needs, but the company has struggled to come to fresh terms with Disney. The media conglomerate argues it provides some of the biggest attractions, especially with its slate of live sports spanning the NFL, NBA and college football, and is seeking what it deems fair rates.
