Friday, September 19

This September, two culinary masters are reuniting at Restaurant Petrus for a series of intimate four-hands dinners. For the first time in 10 years, chef Uwe Opocensky and chef Frédéric Chabbert join forces to create a menu of refined French classics and bold contemporary ideas in a limited-time dining experience. Opocensky is currently executive chef at Restaurant Petrus, while Chabbert was at the restaurant for eight years before establishing the Michelin-star restaurant Dôme in Antwerp.
Diners can expect dishes deaturing the freshest seafood and finest seasonal ingredients, like Chabbert’s celebrated pomme soufflée au caviar and Opocensky’s carré de veau reflecting their commitment to French culinary excellence.

Saturday, September 20

Another weekend guest shift will see Minato welcome Tokyo’s Michelin-starred Nogizaka Shin to its sushi counter for an omakase indulgence, pairing exquisite seafood with expertly selected sake. The two seatings per evening will only accommodate 10 guests each.
Executive chef Shinji Ishida, sous chef Noriaki Nishiura and sommelier Yasuhide Tobita will hold court at Minato’s sushi bar for five nights until September 20, presenting a nine-course feast to Hong Kong diners.
Omakase Takeover by Nogizaka Shin will feature sea urchin and abalone, horsehair crab and fig, pike eel clear soup, sea bream, tuna belly and hokkigai (surf clam) sashimi, among other seafood delicacies.

Take a trip to the historic Old Police Headquarters in Tai Kwun this Sunday to try The Chinese Library’s newest seasonal menu, Behind the Kitchen Door.
Showcasing heritage and tradition through the popular dishes brought to Hong Kong from various Chinese migrants, the tasting menu was inspired by founder David Yeo’s personal library of Chinese cookbooks. It features eight dishes ranging from chilled sea cucumber with chilli and pan-seared scallop, to roasted pigeon leg with soy sauce and wok-seared pigeon breast.
