The Old Man launches new menu
What: Nikita Matveev and The Old Man officially unveiled their new menu Relations on Thursday, so there’s no better way to kick off the weekend than to try the speakeasy’s new concoctions. Inspired by our connection to other people, flavours, dreams, spaces and more, the menu focuses on a variety of flavours that unexpectedly work together.
For example, the Like-Minded Creatures combines blanco tequila – redistilled with patchouli and moss – with vetiver gris liqueur and a pear and aloe cordial with cold brewed kukicha tea. Meanwhile, the Partners in Crime combines coconut-infused cachaça with a Thai basil and chilli cordial, satay sauce distillate, Monkey 47 Gin and coconut mint oil for a bold, full drink topped with a kaffir lime spray.
