Students gather to study yoga while experiencing art in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas may be best known for its bold glitz, plentiful gambling, stellar entertainment, and outrageous nightlife. However, did you know that it has thriving arts and wellness communities? They are converging with a fun yoga experience at The New Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter at Lighthouse ArtSpace Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip.
Now you can practice yoga as the classic art of Vincent Van Gogh seems to come to life all around you. The sessions offer a multi-sensory experience while attendees practice yoga. It’s a yoga experience that utilizes moving art, stunning colors, and soothing sounds.

The yoga classes will be led by instructor, Tami Taliaferro. She is a passionate yoga teacher who first discovered her love for yoga during a search for peace and clarity in her life. She’s been teaching yoga since 2009 and strives to help her students find a greater mind-body connection. Taliaferro welcomes all, and she infuses her classes with a bit of play along with the dedication to traditional yoga.
Each class was designed to help connect the mind, body, an imagination, according to Corey Ross, CEO of Lighthouse Immersive. He told me that it’s not just another yoga class. He shared, “This is a unique opportunity to take in Van Gogh’s work, enhanced by a beautiful soundtrack and expert instructors. Participants can stay to watch Van Gogh: The Next Chapter in its entirety again as they cool down from yoga and feel truly refreshed.”
The 45-minute guided sessions are inclusive and welcome all fitness levels. Amy Pittle, Associate General Manager at Lighthouse Immersive, said, “We make sure to tailor classes to be comfortable yet challenging for all levels of yoga participants. We welcome even beginners who are doing it for the first time. If we know most of the class is experienced, our instructors know how to pace and progress poses accordingly.”
“As a novice yogi, I appreciate the challenge and pace of the class in a cool and beautiful environment. A lot of local yoga experiences are outdoors and even though it’s September, temperatures can still be on the warm side in Las Vegas until October,” Pittle added.

Ross said, “The beautiful backdrop of his artwork around you as you breathe, stretch and pose is incredibly soothing and inspiring.”
These inspiring classes attract both tourists and locals alike. If you are not in Las Vegas but want to attend, you may want to plan a wellness weekend getaway. You can skip the gambling altogether and focus on well-being by staying at the Vdara Hotel & Spa, or you could book a stay at ARIA Resort & Casino which is adjacent to where the yoga classes are held.
Tickets for yoga can be purchased in advance through The New Immersive Van Gogh. These yoga classes with Van Gogh’s art are held each Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. on the third level at The Shops at Crystals. Valet parking is complimentary when you state that you’re attending yoga in Lighthouse Artspace.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and mats. If a student forgets their yoga mat or chooses not to bring it, they can purchase one when they arrive.
