Mangaluru: The Yenepoya Moideen Kunhi Memorial Educational & Charitable Trust, Jeppinamogaru, Mangaluru, has announced the “Yenepoya Teacher Award – 2025”, aimed at recognising and honouring outstanding contributions and innovation in the field of education.
Encouraging Excellence Across Educational Categories
The prestigious award seeks to acknowledge teachers from various categories, including Primary School Teachers, High School Teachers, Art and Craft Teachers, Physical Education Teachers, Pre-University Teachers, Headmasters, and Principals from Government, Aided, Unaided, and Private Institutions under State, Central, or private school schemes.
The Annual Award comprises a cash prize of ₹15,000 and a citation, which will be presented during the Founder’s Day celebration on November 14, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Teachers applying for the award must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Must have completed a minimum of 10 years of teaching service.
A selection committee comprising experts in the field of education has been constituted by the Trust to review and select the most deserving candidates for the honour.
Application Process and Submission Details
Eligible teachers can obtain the application forms from The Yenepoya School office or request them via email. Applicants are required to submit the completed forms along with attested documents verified by the Head of the Institution or the Block Education Officer (BEO).
Submissions may be made either in hard copy at the school office or through email at tys@yenepoya.edu.in.
The last date for submission of applications is November 1, 2025.
