Yash’s Toxic On Track For March 19 Next Year Release, Makers Confirm

After the roaring success of KGF: Chapter 2, superstar Yash took a much-deserved break from the spotlight. Now, the Kannada powerhouse is back in action — and how! The actor is currently filming his next big project, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. The action-drama will hit cinemas worldwide on March 19, 2026, as originally planned. With speculation about a delay gaining traction online, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh contacted the makers and confirmed on social media that the release date remains unchanged. According to his update, post-production and VFX began in April, alongside Yash’s shoot for Ramayana in Mumbai. The last leg of filming is currently underway in Bangalore, and the team is expected to begin promotions in January 2026. The release date falls during the festive period of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, followed soon after by Eid, giving the film a favourable long holiday window at the box office. Recently, a behind-the-scenes video from the film’s sets found its way online, sending social media into a frenzy. In the viral clip, Yash is seen standing shirtless on a balcony, casually smoking, exuding effortless style and attitude — the kind that made him a national icon as Rocky Bhai. Toxic boasts a stellar ensemble cast alongside Yash, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. Reportedly, Kiara has already wrapped her portions, while other cast members are expected to join the schedule soon. Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, known for her distinct storytelling and cinematic realism, Toxic is expected to present Yash in an intense new avatar — a departure from his KGF persona, yet packed with the same magnetic energy. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic has been shot in English and Kannada, with a dubbed release planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and additional languages. The film is jointly backed by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
