WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is not medically cleared to compete and has been pulled from tonight’s “NXT Homecoming” special. The announcement was made by NXT General Manager Ava on social media just hours before the show.Stratton will be replaced in her scheduled six-woman tag team match by former NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. The injury comes just days after a physical title defense on “Friday Night SmackDown.”The Tiffany Stratton InjuryOn last week’s episode of “SmackDown,” Tiffany Stratton defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill. The match ended in a double count-out after both women went through the ringside barricade. The action did not end there, as Nia Jax came out and attacked Stratton after the match, laying her out with her “Annihilator” finisher.According to Bryan Alvarez on “Wrestling Observer Radio,” the injury likely occurred when Stratton performed a moonsault off the ring post and hit her head on the ground.
