The WWE hosted its last Monday Night Raw edition before the premier event of Wrestlepalooza 2025 on September 15 at the MassMutual Centre in Springfield, Massachusetts.
The action-packed night entertained the packed audience as the legendary John Cena opened the show, while Bron ‘n Bron Connection secured their main event victory among other intense clashes. Here is how this week’s amazing episode of the WWE Raw panned out.
John Cena Arrives
The legendary Cena made his iconic entry in front of a huge crowd in his home state. The great wrestler, who is nearing retirement, went down memory lane and spoke of his time playing football as a child down the street at Springfield College.
Cena soon shifted his attention to Brock Lesnar and his much-anticipated clash with The Beast Incarnate at Wrestlepalooza. Cena said he could’ve opted out of the challenge even as Lesnar knocked him out twice recently, but didn’t because he wants to give something back to his fans, who would be following his last six appearances in the ring quite emotionally.

Bron ‘n Bron Connection Beats Jimmy Uso & LA Knight
In an exciting tag team main event clash, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed once again combined to take on the Jimmy Uso-LA Knight pairing. The two teams unleashed their wrath on each other in a fantastic showdown.
After thwarting a series of moves against each other, Bronson Reed managed to tilt the scales in his team’s favour by executing a running Death Valley Driver on Jim Uso and coming up with a successful pinfall.
Stephanie Vaquer Overcomes Kairi Saine
A thrilling women’s singles bout had Stephanie Vaquer facing off against Kairi Sane. The two wrestlers refused to concede ground and threw some powerful moves.
Soon, however, Vaquer seemed to be having the upper hand and an interruption from the Kabuki Warriors followed. Asuka tried to protect Sane but Vaquer was in beast mode on the night and took them both down. She then came up with a special Sliced Bread on Sane and bagged her impressive victory.
El Grande Americano Defeats Dragon Lee
As soon as the fight started, El Grande and Dragon Lee appeared at their aggressive best. But Americano soon took control of the proceedings after El Grande Americano 2 arrived and they started beating Lee together.
AJ Styles then came out to try and save Lee. But when a third man with an El Grande Americano mask came out, they simply got outnumbered. Soon, the second Americano knocked Lee off the turnbuckles, while the original grabbed his opponent with a Steiner Recliner and forced him into a submission for his win in a chaotic tussle.
Penta Powers Over Kofi Kingston
Penta showed his bravery and power in the most impressive triumph against Kofi Kingston, who had the New Day and Grayson Waller both standing by him.
The determined wrestler powered over two major interruptions from Penta and Xavier Woods. Penta kept Kingston down with a series of heavy moves, while fending off some of the brutal responses from his opponent. He ultimately went for a springboard flip piledriver that confirmed his win.
Lyra Valkyria Surpasses Roxanne Perez
In an even match-up, Lyra Valkyria took on Judgement Day member Roxanne Perez. It was an aggressive fight, where the two women refused to let their opponent hold the ascendancy for long. In the dying moments, Valkyria got under Perez and came up with a Fireman’s carry. She backed it up with a Nightwing before successfully securing a pinfall for her triumph.
