WWE fans are very excited to witness the aftermath of Saturday Night's Main Event 2025 on this week on SmackDown. The company has now announced that Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes will be appearing at the show and address what's next for him following his successful title defense.The American Nightmare retained his gold against Drew McIntyre in a back-and-forth contest that drew a mixed reception from fans. Most seem to be concerned about McIntyre's status within the company, as repeated failures in crucial matches over the last few months have diminished his credibility considerably.While it remains to be seen what's in store for McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, on the other hand, has continued his reign atop the mountain. And now, he has been announced for SmackDown this week, which goes down in Greenville, South Carolina. The 2-time and reigning Undisputed Champion stated that he doesn't want to overstay his welcome and leave the business when the time is right."I'd like to make it by that time that when they hit that age, I'm not gone that often, or I can't really walk around much. We're getting closer. What I'd say is that probably my last contract with WWE or the next contract I sign will probably be my last. Finish my days with WWE. It's the house that built me and the house that brought me back and put me in this wonderful position. It's very, very hard to balance. When you're in it, you've got to be in it."Cody Rhodes has successfully made his way into Hollywood, too, of late. Following his cameo in the Naked Gun 2025 reboot, Cody is also slated to appear in the Street Fighter adaptation, which also stars Roman Reigns.
