Jey Uso opens the show, and before he can speak, loud chants of "CM Punk" fill the arena. Jey says he's got a lot of people in his ear, including Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, and he says he doesn't care what they have to say, because it's about him regaining the championship. Punk enters the arena. Punk says he's happy Jey is finally listening to himself and no one else. He says he listens to himself and that it's easy to do when you win, but not so easy when you're about to lose. Punk says he has a lot of questions for Jey, but that he knows he has what it takes after dumping Jimmy out during the battle royal. Punk asks Jey how far he is willing to go to win back his championship, and he's not the only one who needs to be champion again. Jey tells Punk that he's been in deep waters before, and he knows how to swim. Jey says "screw you" to Punk and that he's ready to show him who the real best in the world is on Saturday. LA Knight is backstage discussing his loss during the battle royal for the World Heavyweight Championship. Knight says he doesn't know how to quit, and whether it's Punk or Uso, he's going to be there ready for his next shot. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed are backstage with Paul Heyman discussing their frustrations about not being in the battle royal last week and asked Heyman what his plan was. Heyman tells him that this weekend, Punk and Uso are going to beat the hell out of each other, Breakker will be there, ready to take the championship from whoever has it. Heyman tells Breakker that he has a match tonight with another man vying for the title: LA Knight. Jimmy Uso confronts Jey Uso backstage and screams at Jey about eliminating him from the battle royal, saying he thought about himself. Jimmy tells him Jey only ever thinks about himself and that if it really did come down to the two of them one-on-one, Jey would be too afraid to find out what would happen. Jey Uso responds to Jimmy in another segment, and tells him that he's his brother and he loves him, but he reminds him that he'd have done the same thing to Jey if he had the chance. He says between Roman Reigns, The Vision, and CM Punk, he's got a lot on his plate and doesn't need more. The two dap and Jey leaves.
