During the recent WWE SmackDown episode, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton faced Kiana James in a match, with Giula at ringside. While Stratton won the match, she and her fans probably didn’t expect what happened moments later: a shocking attack and potential injury. Following Tiffany’s pinfall victory, Giula snuck into the ring to attack, allowing her and Kiana to beat down the champion. However, Jade Cargill’s music hit, and the popular WWE star rushed to the ring, where she helped fight off the heels. Following that chaos, she offered a hand to help Tiffany up and even picked up the championship belt to hand it over to her. She then raised Tiffany’s arm to celebrate the moment, but things took a sudden turn. The celebration was short-lived, as Jade seemed like she was leaving the ring. Instead, she quickly turned around and took down Tiffany before further attacking the champion inside and outside of the ring. Referees and officials intervened to get Jade away from Tiffany before she could do more damage. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available,” WWE posted on X after SmackDown. An earlier message from WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced that Tiffany would defend her championship against Jade at “Saturday Night’s Main Event.” Two incredible athletes… but only one can be WWE Women’s Champion. @tiffstrattonwwe vs. @Jade_Cargill at #SNME. pic.twitter.com/U4CG9TF8XZ— Triple H (@TripleH) October 25, 2025 An injury would seem to take Tiffany out of the equation, which makes the recent X message all the more curious. Often, WWE posts these messages even when an injury isn’t legitimate, as part of the storyline build. It’s unclear whether Tiffany was dealing with a legitimate injury or whether WWE has plans to create a different match for Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, Tiffany’s statement that she planned to compete suggests it’ll go forward as planned. On various social media platforms, fans seem to speculate that this is a way for Jade to win the championship after a brutal “injury” to Tiffany. In the process, it would have Tiffany lose without looking weak when she does. WWE’s “Saturday Night’s Main Event” occurs on Saturday, Nov. 1, and also features Jey Uso vs. CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, among other matches, with live streaming via Peacock.
