WWE recently posted a social media update making a huge announcement. The Stamford-based promotion had been dropping cryptic videos to build anticipation among the fans.Over the last few days, the global juggernaut shared multiple vignettes featuring mystery figures in suits walking towards the camera. As it turns out, it was an announcement regarding WrestleMania 42, and the mystery figures were Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, and Paul Heyman.World Wrestling Entertainment recently shared a video package for the 2026 edition of The Showcase of the Immortals featuring the six stars. The wrestling promotion announced that the tickets for the show slated to air live from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19 were now on sale. A new poster for the show was also dropped."Where the greatest Superstars step onto the grandest stage. The former WWE Champion's last appearance on The Show of Shows was in 2023, where he defeated Omos.With WWE promoting him for the PLE, it will be intriguing to see who he wrestles at the show.Former WWE champion wants to wrestle Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42Just like Brock Lesnar, Omos' last match on The Grandest Stage of Them All was also at WrestleMania 39. The Nigerian Giant recently expressed his desire to have a WrestleMania rematch with The Beast Incarnate.Speaking in a recent interview with TMZ, the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion noted that he wanted to wrestle at WrestleMania 42, and Brock Lesnar would be his dream opponent. He added that the two had to go at it one more time."I'm looking forward to being on the card this year. My dream opponent? Since it's going bigger in Vegas I'm going to put it out there. Brock Lesnar, we need to run it back," Omos said.Brock Lesnar's last in-ring appearance saw him obliterate 17-time World Champion John Cena at Wrestlepalooza. On the other hand, Omos hasn't wrestled on WWE programming since the go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown before WrestleMania 40. However, he competed in a few house shows earlier this month.Only time will tell if Lesnar and Omos cross paths ever again.
