Multiple WWE and AEW talents have shown their support for Ridge Holland. The recently fired "NXT" star has been outspoken about his financial struggles, and has even lashed out at WWE after being informed his contract would not be renewed in the midst of an injury. Things got even worse for Holland, as Fightful reported that WWE gave him an early contract release in response to the aforementioned comments on social media. Holland has opened up a GoFundMe page, and several notable names in the professional wrestling industry have donated. The likes of inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green, Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks, and AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher have contributed to Holland's $60,000 goal. At this time, Holland's campaign has reached over $4,000 in donations. The released "NXT" star recently issued a statement on his X page, saying that he can't pay for his mortgage. He also criticized WWE and said he felt the company "hung me out to dry." Many fans have been critical of WWE since the report of Holland's early release surfaced. Holland had been with the company since 2018. He was elevated to the main roster in 2021, performing on the "SmackDown" brand. He became a member of the Brawling Brutes faction, led by Sheamus. In late 2023, Holland was sent back down to the "NXT" developmental brand. He reportedly received a significant pay cut. His reduced pay was said to be more in line with other "NXT" stars who weren't making main roster money.
