Liv Morgan, though sidelined, recently marked a significant anniversary in her career. Morgan took to social media to share a previously unseen video clip of herself in the WWE trainer’s room. The video showed her receiving treatment on her shoulder, a unfortunately familiar process for the former Women’s World Champion. Her current absence stems from an injury sustained in June 2025 during a match against Kairi Sane on WWE Raw. She suffered both a dislocated and separated shoulder during the bout. This injury necessitated surgery and has kept her out of action ever since. Her recovery process is ongoing, with reports indicating that her return to the ring is not expected until sometime in 2026. This recent injury followed a similar setback in 2023. During a match against Rhea Ripley, Morgan suffered a labrum tear in her shoulder. That injury also required surgical intervention and resulted in a lengthy six-month absence from competition. Given this history, Morgan is certainly familiar with the WWE trainers’ room and the rehabilitation process. It’s safe to assume Morgan is equally anxious to step back into the squared circle. Before her injury, Morgan was a member of The Judgment Day faction. In her absence, Roxanne Perez has seemingly taken her place within the group. Despite this change, storyline elements suggest Morgan hasn’t been entirely forgotten by the stable, as they reportedly still keep a photo of her in their on-screen clubhouse. This detail sets the stage for potential conflict upon Morgan’s return, particularly raising the possibility of unfinished business and a future feud with Roxanne Perez over her spot in the faction. While Morgan continues her recovery, her former Judgment Day stablemates remain heavily involved on Raw. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh recently lost the World Tag Team Championships to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Dominik Mysterio holds the Intercontinental Championship.
