Former AEW and WCW star Sting made a surprise 2300 Arena debut following Thursday’s “AEW Collision” taping in Philadelphia. His appearance was part of a post-event tribute to the late Eddie Gilbert, an event organized by AEW head Tony Khan that also saw Jeff Jarrett, Tommy Rich, and Eddie’s brother, Doug Gilbert, in attendance.The segment was a heartfelt, non-televised moment for the live crowd in the historic arena, which was formerly known as the ECW Arena. Tony Khan brought out several legends to honor Gilbert. Sting then asked the fans to chant “Hot Stuff,” which led to Donna Summer’s song of the same name being played to close the emotional segment.
