World Athletics Championships 2025 continues, and on Tuesday, India’s very own Sarvesh Kushare will be in action in the men’s high jump final. Kushare, who has already made history in Tokyo by becoming the first Indian to reach the men’s high jump final at a world event, secured his spot among the 12 other athletes. Despite the heat and humidity, Sarvesh remained calm and composed and cleared the mark of 2.25m to finish in the top 12 of the qualification round. However, he knows the finales will be a different game altogether. “Qualifying and finals are different. We planned training for the qualifiers two days before, and now for the final, we have one day. I’ll relax a bit, do a good training session, and then focus on giving my best in the final,” he said before the summit clash.
