A 24-year-old man is locked up after said he threatened a teen girl with a gun and exposed himself to her. Officers arrested Asim Shafiq on Friday, according to a news release. SEE ALSO | Investigators said a 15-year-old girl accepted a ride from Asim Shafiq around 5 p.m. Thursday in the 13300 block of Minnieville Road. Police said Shafiq then drove the girl to a parking lot off of Canton Hill Road. He then pointed a gun at the girl and exposed himself, according to the release. The girl managed to get out of the car and ran to a nearby business for help. Shafiq faces charges of abduction with intent to defile, taking indecent liberties with a child and using a firearm in commission of a felony. He is being held without bond.
