A 35-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, while a 33-year-old woman was arrested for grievous bodily harm.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, as well over a number of driving offences.

All three were later released on bail.

Two other people were arrested at the scene over offences not related to the incident.

Police officers remain at the scene on Monday and inquiries are ongoing.

“Local residents will continue to see an increased police presence in the area over the coming days,” Det Insp Ryan said.

“This was a terrifying experience for neighbours and those who witnessed these events, and we would appeal to anyone with information to contact us.”

DUP councillor James Burton said the incident “will be of great concern to local residents in the Dungannon area – nobody wants to hear of news like this in their local town”.
