Woman knocked unconscious in horror park attack by 'pair with young child'

A woman was knocked unconscious and left with a broken hip after a horror attack in a park in Warrington. Police are investigating the assault which occurred between 1.45pm and 2.15pm on October 5. It was reported that the victim, a 64-year-old woman, was assaulted while walking her dog in Orford Park. The suspects are thought to be a man and a woman who were in the park with a young child at the time, Cheshire Constabulary said. Join the Manchester Evening News WhatsApp group HERE During the incident, the victim was knocked unconscious and left with bruising to her head. She also sustained a broken hip as a result. As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are appealing for any potential witnesses to contact them.
