Upon arrival, officers located a 41-year-old female with complaints of pain and swelling to their face and right eye. The victim was treated on scene by EMS. The investigation remains ongoing,” police said.
A Secret Service spokesperson told The National News Desk the agency is aware of the reported assault on a U.S. delegate.
Violence of any kind is never acceptable, and we are reviewing the situation to determine whether there is any protective intelligence nexus,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “The Secret Service appreciates our partners for their response during this incident.”

An HHS official was followed into a bathroom, recorded, physically assaulted and verbally accosted by a deranged leftist at the UN who somehow entered the venue past multiple layers of security,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly told the media outlet.
Thankfully, the official is safe, and the lunatic was arrested, but this is part of a disturbing and dangerous set of failures by the UN after their sabotage of President Trump ahead of and during his speech,” the statement noted.
spoke to the staffer who was attacked. She said the incident “felt very political in nature.”
Secretary Kennedy gets a tremendous number of bows and arrows and threats that he deals with, but it seems that it’s not enough, and it is trickling down,” she said, per the media outlet.
The news comes following separate disruptions during the multi-day event.
President Donald Trump demanded an “immediate investigation” into ” ” that unfolded on Tuesday.
In a post Trump shared the following day, he blamed the United Nations for “triple sabotage,” citing the escalator suddenly stopping while he and First Lady Melania Trump were on it, the teleprompter not working during his address to the General Assembly, and the acoustics where he gave his speech being “completely off.”
This wasn’t a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN,” Trump posted on his social media platform. “They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I’m sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary General, and I demand an immediate investigation.”
Trump also said the escalator that he and Melania were taking to enter the Main Speaking Floor “came to a screeching halt.”
Then, on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told fellow world leaders his nation “must finish the job” against Hamas in Gaza, giving a defiant speech despite growing international isolation over his refusal to end the war.
Western leaders may have buckled under the pressure,” he said. “And I guarantee you one thing: Israel won’t.”
Netanyahu’s speech was met with a divided response, as — leaving it nearly empty — as he began talking.
He went on to call out world leaders who decided to recognize Palestinian statehood.
“Your disgraceful decision will encourage terrorism against Jews and against innocent people everywhere,” Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu also shared a message to the 48 remaining hostages, who were taken on Oct. 7, 2023, vowing their safe return.
Our brave heroes, this is Prime Minister Netanyahu speaking to you live from the United Nations,” he said. “We have not forgotten you, not even for a second. The people of Israel are with you. We will not falter, and we will not rest until we bring all of you home.”
